How To Fix a PSP That Freezes and Shuts Off Itself

If your psp console freezes up, shuts down itself without you turning it off using the power switch and you are playing back up iso games from a memory stick, using customer firmware, the game might be a bad rip. Sometimes games dont get ripped properly due to the lack of experience and the game file becomes faulty, which can cause the psp to freeze and crash during game play. So i suggest you re-rip, or download a different copy of that game from a different website and the problem should be resolved. 

If your psp freezes and turns itself off, if you are playing a game from a umd disc, it might be dirty. So get a soft lint free cloth and clean the umd disc that you are experiencing freezing problems with.

If your psp freezes and then shuts off on the start up menu on the psp console, it is likely the firmware that is running on your psp is damaged. If experiencing freezing problems on a psp that is running custom or official firmware, you can hard reset the firmware, which should repair minor damaged firmware. This is by holding the power button in the up position for 10 seconds. If you have hard reset the firmware and your psp is still freezes up on the start up menu, you will need to manually erase the firmware off your psp console and reinstall new firmware onto the psp.

How To Make a Car Head Unit Turn On With The Ignition Off

If you have an in car dvd player in your car and want to watch a movie or want to listen to some music, when you turn the ignition off, it is possible. Most car head units have two coloured wires, one wire which is the colour "Yellow", which is the wire that acts as a ignition live and the other wire that is the colour "Red", which acts as a constant live. If you car stereo turns off, when you turn off the car engine, then the yellow wire is not connected with the red wire on the wiring harness and are not connected together to the cars permanent live.

To make your car head unit turn on and off with the ignition off, it involves you to connect both the red and yellow wires together.

1)Remove your car head unit from the cars dashboard, using a flat head screwdriver, push it into each side of the car head unit and pull out the stereo, as an alternative to remove it from your cars dashboard, if you dont have din tools.

2)Once you have removed the car head unit, look for "Red" and "Yellow" coloured wires on the wiring harness.

3)Once you have found both of them, using a wire stripper, strip of 1 cm of insulation off the yellow wire. 

3)Next connect the "Yellow" colour wire from the wiring harness, with the "Red" colour wire and using electrical insulation tape, tape up the exposed braid, this is to prevent the wire from touching other wires and causing a short circuit.

5)Push all the wires that are behind the car head unit, pushing them right back and then insert the car head unit back into the din slot, this is by pushing it in.
